Services for Students

Concurrent enrollment

If you are enrolled at another University of Wisconsin campus, your fees may be adjusted depending on the total number of credits for which you are registered.  To receive an adjustment for which you may be entitled notify the Business Office whenever you are concurrently enrolled at another UW campus. A copy of a paid receipt and current class schedule from the other UW campus(es) will be required to adjust your fees.

Consortium agreements for concurrent enrollment

When you are attending more than one institution during the same semester, you must request a consortium agreement from your “home” institution. See financial aid.

Child care subsidy

The Child Care Subsidy Program is sponsored by the Student Senate. Financial assistance is offered to students who incur child care expenses for their preschool children while attending classes at the UW-Marshfield/Wood County. Anyone taking classes for credit is eligible, except those students who are receiving financial assistance from the state or county under the Title XX program for child care expenses. For more information, contact the Business Office.

Collaborative Degree Program

The Collaborative Degree Program (CDP) between UW-Stevens Point, UW-Marshfield/Wood County and UW-Marathon County enables students to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or General Studies here on this campus.

All the necessary classes required for either degree are offered here. Students do not have to travel to Stevens Point for any classes. All CDP classes are offered in the evening to fit the schedules of students who work during the day.

For more information contact Student Services at 715-389-6530.
