A message from Dr. Andy Keogh, Dean

On behalf of the faculty and staff, I’d like to welcome you to
UW-M/WC. We’re looking forward to helping you grow
academically, socially and emotionally during your time here
with us.
There have been some significant changes here over the summer.
We’ve been renovating the Hamilton Roddis Memorial Library - a
project that has been long awaited. The Learning Center has been
relocated in the library to better meet student needs. Both the
library and The Learning Center are there to help you achieve
personal and academic success. We hope you’ll take advantage of
the opportunities these facilities provide.
We have new faculty and staff on campus. Dr. David De Lyser will
be teaching instrumental music. He hails from Colorado and has
settled in Chili with his wife, Sharon, four cats and a recently
acquired cow.
Dr. Catherine Mitchell will be teaching English and
Communication and Theatre Arts. She comes to us from Texas and
is looking for a good place to buy a winter coat.
Amanda Lang, formerly of Milladore, joined us in July as a
Student Services Coordinator. This month she’ll be earning her
Master’s Degree in Adult Education.
We are all looking forward to a productive academic year. I wish
you the best of luck in all your classes and extra-curricular
activities. Please keep in contact with your professors,
advisors and myself. We’re here to help you get the best start
for the life you want! |
