time for exploration and research. Be sure to tour
universities that you are interested in! Begin
discussing financial matters with family members and
look at tuition costs!
Here are a few steps to keep
in mind:
FALL
-
Attend Wisconsin
Education Fairs (WEF) to collect information.

Visit college
representatives during high school visits.

Make a list of the
campuses you would like to visit.

Register to take
advanced classes in high school

Make sure you’re on
a college prep track.
SPRING/SUMMER
-
Take the SAT/ACT.
-
Visit the campuses
on your list. Look for scheduled visitation
programs.

By the end of the
year, have your list narrowed to your top 3 to 5
choices.

Consider taking
college courses while you are in high school!!
