For Distance Ed & Collaborative Degree Students

UW-Colleges Online or Distance Education

  • If you are taking a UW-Colleges distance education course that meets on the UW-Marshfield/Wood County campus (compressed video or Wisline Web), please feel free to make use of campus library resources and contact Ruth Elderbrook or Laurie Petri for research assistance. We should be able to provide the help you need.
  • If you are taking a UW-Colleges online course but do not take any course physically on the UW-Marshfield/Wood County campus, there are additional UW-Colleges Online Library Support Services that may be helpful to you.
  • Information on proctoring services can be found on the UW Colleges Online Exam Procotoring page. Remember it is ESSENTIAL that you submit all your proctor information NO LATER than the end of the first full week of class.

Collaborative Bachelor's Degree Programs

Students enrolled in a collaborative degree program on our campus are able to use all UW-Marshfield/Wood County library services and resources on-site.  Please contact Ruth or Laurie with any access issues and we will try to assist you.

As a distance learner, you are eligible for a wide variety of library services from the institution in which you are enrolled.  These services may include getting books mailed directly to you, a dedicated distance education librarian for personalized assistance, and access to the same databases and services that on-site students have available.  Look for your institution below to find out more about library services for collaborative degree students.
