Local gymnasts compete in National Meet

Magic Gymnasts competing at nationals

Six gymnasts from the UW-Marshfield/Wood County Continuing Education Magic Gymnastics Team competed in the AAU National Championships held at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida in June. The meet included gymnasts ages 6-18-years-old from all over the country. The gymnasts attending the competition from Magic were; Rachel Lindner, Allison Geiger, Vivian Nikolai, Julianna Kollross, Audrey Horvath and Sydney Tishim. 

Rachel Lindner competed Level 2 and received her top score on Vault of a 9.0 in 10th place. She had an All-Around score of 35.0 putting her in 11th place. 

Allison Geiger, Vivian Nikolai and Julianna Kollross all competed Level 4. Julianna received her highest score on Floor with a 9.075 putting her in 5th place. Vivian received her highest score on Bars with an 8.75 putting her in 9th place. Allison received her highest score on Vault with an 8.050 placing her in 12th.

Audrey Horvath competed Level 5. Her high score was an 8.4 on Vault giving her fourth place. She also took third place on Beam and Floor. Sydney Tishim competed Level 6. She received her highest score on the Vault at 8.275 putting her in 14th place.
