Patricia L. Stuhr, the Dean and Campus CEO comes to UW-M/WC after 24 years at OSU Dr. Stuhr served at OSU as a Professor and Chair of the Department of Art Education.
She attended UW-M/WC, transferred and received her Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Stevens Point, Master of Science in Teaching degree from UW-Oshkosh and Ph.D. from UW-Madison.
She also taught art in Wisconsin, K-12 public schools for 14 years in Oakfield, Wisconsin, and evening art classes in maximum and medium security prisons in Waupun and Fox Lake for 11 years.
Dr. Stuhr has done extensive research and publication in the area of contemporary Wisconsin Native American visual culture and artists, multicultural art education, and the arts in integrated curriculum. In 1998, she received a Fulbright Award to teach and research on the topics of multicultural art education and integrated curriculum at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Finland.
Dr. Stuhr, a Marshfield native, says she is glad to be back in Marshfield and greatly looks forward to serving the campus students and the city and county communities.
Stuhr lives in Marshfield with her husband.
