Wednesdays at the Wood

"Wednesdays at the Wood" is an opportunity for you to meet our students, faculty and staff in an informal setting! You'll take a tour, chat with students and discover college life at your local University of Wisconsin campus. 

Held the first Wednesday of most months from 2-4 p.m. The afternoon provides students with a taste of what college life is really like with tours, information and conversations with current students!

Registration is encouraged, walk-ins are welcome. Click on the session that you would like to attend to register.

Preview Day

Discover why UW-Marshfield/Wood County is the U for You!
The next Preview Day will be spring 2017.

At Preview Day you will:

  • Meet professors, current students, other parents and alumni. 
  • Attend sample classes and meet with advisors.  
  • Learn about our affordable tuition and opportunities for financial aid.
  • Ask questions about our guaranteed credit transfer.
  • Learn about student life and your ability to get involved with sports, music, theater, student clubs and more!
  • Parents are encouraged to attend!

Coffee, Career & College Open House

Learn how you can earn your University of Wisconsin Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) Degree  locally!

  • May 11, 6-8 p.m.
  • July 13, 6-8 p.m.

No appointment or registration necessary - just stop in Student Affairs to talk with our advisor and learn how you can get started! 

College 101

This free event provides families and students with everything they need to know about applying to college. Admissions, registration, financial aid, scholarships—we cover it all. A great one-stop shop for college prep!  

The next College 101 will be Fall 2016.   

Funding Your Education

The financial aid process can be intimidating. UW-Marshfield/Wood County is here to guide you through the process. From filling out the FASFA to applying for scholarships, we will help you through it all.

The next Funding Your Education will be in Winter 2017.
