What is Regular Student Employment?

Regular student employment (non-work-study) is not part of the financial aid package and is available to any student. There are very few regular student employment positions on campus.

Available Positions

Continuing Education - Gymnastics Coach

Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in coaching gymnastics to youth from 18 months -18 years of age. Provide cues on safety and form. Help clean and maintain gymnastics equipment and facility. Hours: Flexible hours – one or more evenings a week.
Qualifications/Skills Required: Previous experience working with youth and/or a background in gymnastics, dance, group fitness or coaching. Willing to train the right person.
Rate: $8-$12.50/hour

Athletics

Fitness Center

Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor activities in the Fitness Center. Perform record keeping, minor cleaning and maintenance in Center. Be available in case of injury or emergency.

Qualifications/Skill Required: Friendly, good organizational and communication skills. Clear hand writing. Experience in first aid desired but not required.

Volleyball Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain equipment, sweep floors, extend bleachers, keep game stats.

Qualifications/Skills Required: Understanding and knowledge of volleyball terminology and game play; fast and accurate record keeping. Computer experience.

Volleyball Statistician

Duties and Responsibilities: Record team statistics for each player on the court.

Women's Basketball Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: Referee Intramural scheduled games during the IM season for touch football, basketball, volleyball and slow-pitch softball.

Basketball Statistician

Duties and Responsibilities: Record team statistics for each player on the court.

Scorekeepers, Timers, Line Judges

Duties and Responsibilities: Keep official score at all home varsity and intramural sporting events; run a time clock; line referee at home volleyball matches; call the ball; charge and collect tickets at varsity events.
