General Information
Classes are filled
on a first-come (first-call) basis.
We reserve the right to cancel any course that does not
have sufficient enrollment.
With this in mind, it is most helpful to call to register
(or be put on a waiting list) as
early as possible. We will then hold your place for three
days in anticipation of your payment.
Payment
All fees must be
paid before the start of each class. Make checks payable
to: University of Wisconsin
- Refund Policy:
a full refund is automatically processed if you notify the
office one week before the first class.
- Verification of
attendance and CEU credit are available. Simply ask
when registering or obtain a CEU form from your instructor.
- Pre-registration
is required for all classes.
- No
confirmation notice will be sent. You are registered
for your class by one of the methods listed above.
- Non-cash
payments, questions and/or other forms can be left in
either of the Continuing Education drop boxes. One box
is located outside Room 465 and the other is at the
connection of the science and administration buildings.
- If the Continuing
Education Office is closed, you may leave your payment and
registration with the Business Office just down the hall.
Tax Deductions
The U.S. Internal Revenue Service has authorized deductions
for lifelong learning. This means that your CE noncredit
class may be tax-deductible. If requested, we will send
you a certificate of completion at the end of your class for
your tax files. Check with your accountant or the IRS for
details.
Equal Opportunity
UW-Extension provides equal opportunities in programming
including Title IX requirements. Please advise us at the
time of registration if you are physically challenged and desire
special accommodations.
