                        Wisconsin Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA

The University of Wisconsin – Marshfield/Wood County Continuing Education program seeks a team player to help with their VISTA project.  Develop and expand programs to bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty.  Develop civic engagement through service learning with community partners and non-profit organizations.

This position requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, excellent communication skills, a strong interest in working with college students and faculty and a commitment to a full year of service. 

AmeriCorps*VISTA member serve full-time for one year with varying work hours and receive a modest living allowance, health insurance, an education award of $4,725 or a $1,200 stipend upon completion, relocation expenses and training. UWM/WC and AmeriCorps are equal opportunity organizations. Position starts with a training in mid-August and ends one year later.
